CanExport is a federal program by Global Affairs Canada that supports SMEs in expanding their international markets. It provides non-repayable funding for export-related activities, such as market research, trade missions, and promotional efforts. The program aims to help Canadian companies overcome international trade barriers and enhance their global competitiveness.

The funding covers up to 50% of eligible expenses, with a maximum grant of $50,000 for international market development projects.
Eligibility
Businesses must be for-profit, employ fewer than 500 people, and demonstrate a commitment to exporting.
Application

Can I Claim Both SR&ED Tax Credit and CanExport?
Yes. It is possible to claim SR&ED tax credit and apply for CanExport funding. However, an analysis needs to be conducted to avoid any double-dipping risk.
